About Me
In 2012 I got the opportunity to go to the Mary Hare college of Audiology in Newbury to begin my training as a Dispensing Audiologist. During this time I worked with and was supervised by the Bonovox Hearing Company in Dublin. I later completed my Higher Diploma in Audiology at The Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. In 2014 I completed a microsuction wax removal course in the Eye & Ear hospital in Dublin.
Microsuction Wax Removal
Microsuction ear wax removal is a procedure where ear wax is removed from the ear by using gentle suction from a low pressure suction machine and a fine sterile probe.
Microsuction ear wax removal typically takes between 15 to 30 minutes to perform. This can vary depending on the amount and type of ear wax and how deep the ear wax is inside the ear canal.
